Piezography BW6 was a disk set that supported the Epson Stylus Photo 6 color printers. There were NO Bug fix updates, as there were no reported problems.

We thought originally that it would be a good idea to separate the 4 color printers and the 6 color printers. We have decided since then that this was not a good idea for the customers, as they would have to buy two separate versions if they wished to print on both 4 color printers (Piezography BW) and 6 color printers(Piezography BW6).

Starting with Piezography BW version 6.0.0 - all printers will be supported on a single disk.

Piezography BW Version 6.0.x is not a free update for users who purchased previous versions. Upgrade details may be found at http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/upgrade.html
Version 6 includes -
   1 - Consolidated all 4 and 6 color printers onto one disk. There will be no future Piezography BW6 disk for 6 color printers.
   2 - Supports the new Epson 980, the Epson 1280/1290 printer is in test now and will be a free update available soon.
   3 - Added support for 16 bit printing. Useful for a pure 16 bit workflow where users are capable of image capture / scanning in bit depths larger than 8-bit.
   4 - Added top / left offset features. Useful for those who are printing greeting cards where the image needs to be moved down and to the right so that the card may be folded, or anyone that needs precise positioning of the image on the sheet.
   5 - Moved many settings from the Epson Page setup to the Piezography dialog box to simplify the workflow.

Piezography BW6 version 5.x users may download the latest paper profiles available in version 6.0.x.

PC ICQ PAPER Profile UPDATES
1 - PC_ICQupdater600c.exe
   - Version 6.x Paper profiles and associated preference file. Updates version 5.x to the same paper profiles shipping with version 6.x

Recommended PC Update Procedure for ICQ Updater Version 6.0.0
In order to reduce any possible conflict with earlier versions of the ICQ profiles the following steps are recommended before installing the ICQ Updater, Version 6.0.0:

1. Find the exact location of the ICQ profiles on your hard drive. They are installed in the systems "Color" subdirectory.  

For Win 95 & 98 the typical place is C:\windows\system\color.
For Win NT4 or 2000 c:\winNT\system32\color.

You can use Start/Find/Files or Folders and search for "Q*.icq". This will find all files that start with the letter "Q" and end with the extension ".icq". The location will be listed in the "In Folder" column.

2 - Move the ICQ profiles to another location. - OR - Delete the ICQ profiles (all files ending with the ".icq" extension".

3 - Download the file PC_ICQupdater600c.exe to your desktop.

4 - This file is a self extracting Zipped file. Double click the PC_ICQupdater600.exe file to extract it. It will self extract into a folder.

5 - Open the folder and find the file "SETUP.EXE". Double click this file to install the ICQ Updater Version 6.0.0. Use the "custom install" to select which printer profiles to install.

NOTE - Make sure to click to the left of the printer name, and that you see a check mark to the left of the printer you want to install in the custom install screen. This has caused some confusion for some people.

Latest ICQ Paper profiles - 07 December 2001
This updater add more profiles to the 6.0.0 update above.
ICQUpdaterPHOTO603.exe - Download for the 6 color "PHOTO" printers.
Contains:
8 - ICQ profiles for Hahnemuehle papers for the PHOTO printer 1280
1 - ICQ profile for Crane Museo for the PHOTO printer 1280
1 - ICQ profile for Crane Museo for the PHOTO printer 1200
(Sorry, there will be a delay for the Hahnemuehle papers for the 1200)

1 - This file is a self extracting Zipped file. Double click the ICQUpdaterPHOTO603.exe file to extract it. It will self extract into a folder.

1 - Go to the Systems Folder/Preferences folder

2 - Rename the Piezography Profiles folder (to say, Piezography Profiles Old) - OR - Move the Piezography Profiles folder to Trash.

3 - Download the file MAC_ICQupdater600a.HQX to your desktop. This is a self extracting Stuff-It file.

4 - This file should automatically self extract to a typical MAC installer while downloading depending on what version of Internet browser you are using. If it does not self extract, Double click the file to extract it. Alternatively run Stuff-it or Mindvision Expander and manually expand the file.

5 - Double click the Installer to install the ICQ Updater Version 6.0.0.

6 - Select "Custom Install" to choose which profiles to install.

Latest MAC ICQ Paper profiles - 07 December 2001
