of updates available here.
1 - Piezography Plug-in Updates
2 - Piezography ICQ Updates
The Piezography Plug-in Update replaces the plug-in program,
and fixes any known printing problems. This does NOT add new papers
to the available media list.
The Piezography ICQ Updaters ADD new papers to the supported
media list. This does NOT fix any bugs in the plug-in program.
The ICQ updaters are at the bottom of the page. ICQ

PC
Version 6.x
Note - the current shipping version is 6.0.4a
Version
6.0.1 and above adds support for the Epson 1280/1290 printer.
Plug-in Version 6.0.0 is not a free update for users who purchased
previous versions. Upgrade details may be found at http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/upgrade.html
Version 6 includes -
1 - Consolidated all 4 and 6 color printers
onto one disk. There will be no future Piezography BW6 disk for
6 color printers.
2 - Supports the new Epson 980, the Epson 1280 printer
3 - Added support for 16 bit printing. Useful
for a 16 bit workflow where users are capable of image capture
/ scanning in bit depths larger than 8-bit.
4 - Added top / left offset features. Useful
for those who are printing greeting cards where the image needs
to be moved down and to the right so that the card may be folded,
or anyone that needs precise positioning of the image on the sheet.
5 - Moved many settings from the Epson Page
setup to the Piezography dialog box to simplify the workflow.
For
users who received Version 6.0.0 on their disk, support for the
1280/1290 may be added by downloading the free ICQ updater at
the bottom of the page.
PC
Version 6.0.4a - 08 March 2002
Updater to correct problems with 980/1280/1290/1200/1160
Epson 980/1280/1290
- Version 6.0.4a solves some timing issues that were discovered
printing long panoramic prints for the 980/1280/1290 printer families.
Occasionally the Epson printer will stop and clean itself during
a long print, and this would cause a time-out error in the Piezography
Plug-in, and we would report a loss of communication with the
printer. Printing could be resumed by pressing "OK"
on the error box, but this is not a desirable condition.
Epson
1200 - Also fixed are banner (>22") printing for the Epson
Stylus Photo 1200
Note : Remember to set the paper source to Banner when
printing over 22".
In order for the Epson Stylus Photo 1200 to print an image longer
than 22", the Paper Source must be set to Banner in the printer
driver's Paper preferences menu.
(This is true for the Epson driver as well as the plug-in.)
If you want the plug-in to "fit" the paper length to the image
length (plus margins), or if you want the paper length to exceed
the driver's 44" maximum, set the User's Custom Defined Paper
Height to 44".
Epson
Stylus Color 1160 solved problem when printing to the in Good
mode for the first print of the day.
