3 - Proof Setup
| This is the new feature in Photoshop 6 & 7 where one of our ColorSupport ICC profiles can be loaded to preview your image as it will print. The accuracy of this preview is dependent upon the condition of your monitor - its calibration and the availability of a monitor profile. There are several software on the market which produce monitor calibrations and profiles. This type of software however, is very ineffective without using it in conjunction with a hardware monitor calibrator. We curently recommend PhotoCal/Spyder for this purpose. This is a sub-$200 product for USB equipped computers. For ADB or Serial Ports, use Prove it! The next part of this tutorial shows how to load our printer profiles when you select Custom. |
