Photoshop 6 & 7 has a new Color Management feature.
Cone Editions Press and Inkjetmall participated in the Photoshop 6 Beta
program. We are proud to offer the solution required to take full advantage
of the new Photoshop6 SoftProof feature! The ability to correctly preview
an image (Soft Proof) is found under a new menu item called ProofSetup.
Loading a ConeEditions ColorSupport ICC / ICM profile into
the Custom dialogue, allows Photoshop to preview the image as it will
print from any of our supported printers.
This new feature combined with our profiles allows What You See Is What
You Print (WYSIWYP) imaging. Now an image can be color corrected and edited
with confidence! The quality of your preview is directly related to the
calibration of your monitor. We suggest using PhotoCal/Spyder
for USB computers or Prove it!/Sequel
for computers with USB or Serial ports.
We have prepared a tutorial to show you how easy it is to use this new
feature starting from the correct way to Setup Photoshop to the actual
Printing of an image. To view this
tutorial click here.
