Prove it! USB support doesn't work

ColorBlind for USB has been upgraded to 1.5.3 for Windows and as 1.5.1(usb) for Mac, however ColorBlind is not shipping this version yet. We have these files for you to download from our remote techsupport site. .

Procedure: MACINTOSH click here for Windows

1 Macintosh: You must download the USB driver from our Prove it! download portal - click here.

2 Both of these files are self-extracting or can be unstuffed with free software from MindVision. However, most Mac users have some version of StufIt on their systems and Mindvision software may not be necessary.

Unstuff the compressed driver file. Place the SequelChromaUSB file into System Folder/Extensions. Connect your USB puck and run the ColorBlind USB Prove it! installer.

Prove it! should recognize that you have installed the Prove it! Meter USB in the Instruments menu of the application. Otherwise select it.

The program should function normally at this point.

To install the USB driver: Connect the USB device. From the start menu select settings, control panel. Double click on Add New Hardware, click next untill you are prompted to "have windows search for your new hardware", select No, I want to select the hardware from a list. From the list select Other devices, next. Click on Have Disk..., select Browse..., navigate to the un zipped sequellUSBDriver folder and select Chroma5.inf. OK, OK, Next, Finish. Shutdown and Reboot.
